Inspired by the complexity and power of a "heavy" multi-engine aircraft, the Six-Pack is our most intricate formulation. While most blends rely on two or three components, this espresso utilizes a precise "six-bean formation" to ensure maximum stability and crema production. It is designed for high-pressure environments where a failure in flavor is not an option.
Flavor Notes & Tasting Profile
A massive, multi-layered profile that hits every "instrument" on the palate.
- Aroma: Pungent dark chocolate, roasted malt, and sweet pipe tobacco.
- Primary Notes: Intense dark cocoa, toasted hazelnut, and a subtle "zing" of stone fruit.
- Finish: Long, velvety, and syrupy with a hint of spicy clove.
- Body: Maximum Density. This blend is engineered to produce a thick, golden "cloud deck" of crema that lingers on the surface.
Origin Details
- The Fleet: A global alliance of six distinct Arabica origins across three continents:
- South America: Provides the chocolatey "fuselage" and base weight.
- Central America: Adds the "lift" with bright, balancing acidity.
- Africa/Asia: Introduces the "navigation" notes—the subtle exotic spices and floral aromas.
- Altitude: A diverse range from 1,100 to 1,900 Meters (ASL).
Growth & Processing Method
- Method: Strategic Processing Matrix. This blend utilizes a combination of Washed, Natural, and Honey-processed beans. The Natural beans are the "secret fuel" for the heavy crema, while the Washed beans keep the flavor profile clean and professional.
- Cultivation: Estate Grown & Small-Batch Focused. Each of the six beans is selected for its ability to play a specific role in the espresso "formation," sourced from farms that focus on high-density bean development.
- Roasting Technique: Multi-Stage Development. The beans are roasted to a precise dark level to draw out natural oils to the surface, ensuring that the "engines" are fully primed for high-pressure extraction.
Brewing Recommendations
This blend is tuned for high-pressure systems but remains versatile.
- Best Choice: Espresso Machine or Aeropress.
- Ratio: 1:2 (18g in, 36g out) for a traditional double shot.
- Extraction Time: 25–30 seconds.
Pilot's Note: This is the ultimate "Pre-Flight" fuel. Its heavy body allows it to cut through milk perfectly in lattes and cappuccinos without losing its distinct aviation character.
